"Ode to Cleo was created in honor of my great-grandmother Cleo, a woman whose bravery and grace continue to inspire me. Born in Patras, Greece, in 1889, Cleo took a leap of faith when she married my great-grandfather George and arrived at Ellis Island in 1921 to begin a new life in America. She helped build the Gallanis Chocolate Company, once a competitor to Hershey's, before losing everything in the crash of 1929. Through it all, Cleo carried herself with kindness, resilience, and undeniable glamour.
