About the Perfumer
Jennifer McKay Newton, driven by a passion for empowering people through scent, set out to launch a fragrance brand despite not being a formally trained perfumer. Unable to find a perfume house willing to work with her due to a lack of industry connections and order volume, she immersed herself in learning—reading everything she could on perfumery, experimenting with perfume oils, and refining her craft. After four years of experimentation she finally achieved results she was happy with, but now collaborates and acts as the creative director on new scents. Being self-taught she knows firsthand how complex perfume-making is and holds a deep admiration and respect for the art and science of perfumery.
