About the Perfumer

Jennifer McKay Newton, driven by a passion for empowering people through scent, set out to launch a fragrance brand despite not being a formally trained perfumer. Unable to find a perfume house willing to work with her due to a lack of industry connections and order volume, she immersed herself in learning—reading everything she could on perfumery, experimenting with perfume oils, and refining her craft. After four years of experimentation she finally achieved results she was happy with, but now collaborates and acts as the creative director on new scents. Being self-taught she knows firsthand how complex perfume-making is and holds a deep admiration and respect for the art and science of perfumery.

They were nice fragrances and the smell aligns with the price point. I was missing my travel spray and it took a week for a specific response giving me a resolution…. and they decided to give me the run around for a week when I gave them photos, package weight and all the order information from day 1. In the end they just had a return portal. This tells me they give people the runaround in hope they don't follow up.

This perfume smells SO good, and i’m not exaggerating. It smells identical to baby powder, which might sound weird, but it smells so clean and delicious. I got mine from a gift shop in St Thomas and i’ve almost finished it. Can’t wait to order another one !

I am not a flower girl but CLARA is divine. It's a clean, fresh-out-of-the-shower smell with a light floral accord. It immediately gave me the image of walking through a field of wildflowers in a sundress and being kissed by the sun and a deliciously soft fresh breeze. The dry-down is just amazing. It's very feminine, which I love. It's soft, exotic, clean, and sexy. It's floral done right.

I may fall into the category of an "older" woman now, but Clara helps me revisit my entire life and makes me feel young! From the baby powder of infancy, to the discovery of the gentle fragrance of wild blue violets growing in the woods, to the sweet lilies every Easter. Then there were the exotic hibiscus of my Hawaiian honeymoon, and the lilacs - oh, I could go on. Now if I were to pick a highlight for me, it'd be the lasting aroma of the blue violets. I personally have not preciously experienced it in a fragrance. So delicate, so powerful. Just wow!

I love rollerballs and purse sprays, and I don't mind reapplying! I also don't like super strong scents and have a sensitive nose! CLARA is my absolute favorite of all of these scents, with Delphine running as a very close second! ALL are amazing and fabulous, but CLARA is #1 for me!!
